| Let’s Dance Returns to the Maltz Theatre |

This romantic comedy features the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harry Warren, & Johnny Mercer."

Let’s Dance is the story of a break dancing jock-turned-hippie who is inspired by Fred Astaire to become a "Dancin' Man." His search to "leave his footsteps in the sands of time" leads him to the girl of his dreams, a classical ballerina from the "better side of the tracks". Following a sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant odyssey, the star-crossed lovers unite and reminisce about their lives of "rhythm and rhyme."
The song & dance team of Michael Kessler and Melinda Jackson were the starring song & dance team, in The Great Radio City Music Hall Spectacular directed by Joe Layton, touring in over 80 US cities and an extended run at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas. They played the roles of The Blind Countess and the Gigolo in Tommy Tune's Broadway Show Grand Hotel. They played the roles of Ninotchka and Canfield in Cole Porter's Silk Stockings. Michael & Melinda produced, directed, choreographed, wrote original music and starred with their company M&M American Dance Theatre, Off Broadway in Manhattan Moves at the American Place Theatre. Their first production, Lost Luggage, premiered in New York City at the Emanuel Y.
The performance for Let’s Dance is at 8:00 pm Saturday November 26, 2005. Tickets are $35 orchestra & $25 mezzanine. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is located at 1001 Indiantown Road and A1A in Jupiter and is a member of the prestigious League of Resident Theatres.
