"Sharkey's Tackle was established not only to offer a variety of popular products and convenient early morning hours - but also to become an active member of the community. In the very near future, we hope to accomplish this through educational seminars for children and inshore angling expos at our Jupiter location. The goal of our community outreach programs will be to educate new anglers and enlighten the seasoned angler on conservation, inshore techniques and new products," noted Rob Fielding, co-owner and president of Sharkey's Tackle.
After more than a decade in the travel industry, Fielding chose to pursue his passion for fishing full time. He is well known in the angling communities of both Fort Lauderdale and Juno Beach. A marketing professional in the cruise vacation industry, Aidy "Sharkey" Alonzo is co-owner of Sharkey's Tackle and shares Fielding's love for the ocean and marine life. Both native Floridians who were born and raised in South Florida, Fielding and Alonzo now call Stuart, Florida home.
