| PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TO SHINE IN JUPITER |
admin writes, "12th Annual Event to Honor Charlie Chaplin on the 30th Anniversary of his Death – The Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre announced its plans to partner and host two events for the upcoming PBIFF April 19 – 26. Silent film lovers and children of all ages have events targeted just for them at the Maltz Jupiter Theater. Additional Jupiter events include an educational workshop and networking event at the Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum.
“We certainly are the Festival with something for everyone. From silent films to children’s films, we hope you partake in these great events,” explained Randi Emerman, Executive Director of the Palm Beach International Film Festival, “We are excited to introduce the community to these great venues and all that Jupiter has to offer.” "

| Visual Art Exhibitions Debut At the Maltz Jupiter Theatre |

After months of renovations the Maltz Jupiter Theatre is looking better than ever. And what does anyone do after renovating? They decorate with great works of art! The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is proud to announce the addition of the new Gallery Hall.
The Gallery Hall, located inside of the north side of the theatre’s auditorium, is a new concept that will be featured throughout the year and will showcase both local and nationally known artists. This first must see show, “Art and Music that Touches the Soul,” a partnership with the Artists Showcase of the Palm Beaches opens on Wednesday, November 28. The show will feature artist Danny Simmons, brother of Def Comedy’s own Russell Simmons; Loutonia Gary, sister to Stuart lawyer and philanthropist Willie Gary; local artists Anthony Burks, Jonathon Knight, Lupe Lawrence, Peter Marshall and Gillian Kennedy Wright. "

| Anonymous Donor Challenges Maltz Jupiter Theatre Supporters |
admin writes, "The Maltz Jupiter Theatre has announced that an anonymous donor has issued a challenge grant in the amount of $500,000 in an effort to enlarge and diversify the donor base with like-minded people who wish to promote live theater in the North County. Every donation received by the theatre will be matched dollar for dollar up to $500,000.
Individuals wishing to contribute may contact Tricia Trimble, the theatre’s Director of Development, at (561) 743-2666 (ext. 122) for more information. Donations may be in the form of cash, credit cards or even stock transfers. The MJT is requesting that all supporters consider the many benefits the theatre provides to the community and that all its supporters consider making a donation at this time."
