| The Palm Beach Zoo Announces New Baby Jaguars! |
provider writes, "For the first time in the history of the Palm Beach Zoo, we are seeing spots! After 104 days of patiently waiting and around the clock surveillance through a video monitoring system, zoo staff was excited and relieved to witness the birth of two female jaguar cubs on the morning of September 21, 2005. These are the first jaguar cubs ever born at the zoo and only the second litter from proud mother “Nabalam” and father “Muchaco.” The cubs were born in a speciallydesigned denning area of the jaguar exhibit nighthouse within the Tropics of the Americas."

Safe Harbor is looking for people interested in sharing their home with a shelter dog or cat over the Holiday season. The public is invited to visit Safe Harbor for “Home for the Holidays” from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. There will be a DJ with music, a parade of adoption animals, snacks, soft drinks and a lot of Holiday cheer. Santa Claus will be available for photos with your pet, so bring the whole family! "

This year the pet residents at Safe Harbor, a not for profit no-kill shelter, are asking for dog, cat, kitten and puppy toys to entertain themselves through the holiday season. If you would like to donate more practical items, the shelter always needs bedding, bath towels, Purina wet and dry food, bleach and paper towels. "
