An evening with sculptor John Soderberg
Enjoy light refreshments and meet the artist at this free event. On Wednesday, March 24, (5:30 to 7:30 p.m.) collectors of contemporary sculpture will have a unique opportunity to enjoy a special evening with world-renowned sculptor John Soderberg at the Lighthouse Center for the Arts in Tequesta, as part of the current exhibition: Human Drama in Bronze, a Sculptural Retrospective by the John Soderberg Family.

Lighthouse Center for the Arts Welcomes New Faculty Members
Lighthouse Center for the Arts is proud to announce the addition of four award-winning artists to their dynamic team of faculty. The Center’s School of Art represents a 46-year history in providing excellent arts instruction through its studio courses, workshops, children’s camps and community outreach. Art classes offered are richly diverse in medium, technique and skill level and are taught for adults and children. The highly-credentialed new artists appearing on the schedule bring fresh creativity and method with their talent to share with student artists. Joining the exceptional roster of instructors is a returning favorite after several years away, Norma Conway, and three artists new to Lighthouse Center for the Arts, Sibel Kocabasi, Sam Perry and Genevieve Steel.

“The Art of Film: Not Immediately Transparent”
The Lighthouse Center for the Arts in Tequesta is pleased to present “The Art of Film: Not Immediately Transparent” - an exhibition featuring three artists who create interesting and intricate artworks using film, which has been removed from its original element and repurposed.

Jupiter’s “Poet Lawreate” a.k.a. attorney Wally McCall, entertained an audience of approximately 25 at the Loxahatchee River Center on Thursday, October 29; reading poems from his book “Armadillo Armageddon and Other Collected Poems” along with recently completed and as yet unpublished works.
