| Corpse Bride |
moviecritic writes, "On the eve of his arranged wedding to a woman (voiced by Emily Watson) he has just met, Victor Van Dort (Johnny Depp) takes off into the woods to practice his tricky vows. After a successful rehearsal of his lines, Victor realizes he's accidentally married the Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter), who is elated to have found love at last. The Bride takes Victor to her underworld home of the dead, and looks forward to a new life with her very living husband. Victor, scared out of his wits, tries to rejoin the living, but soon finds himself caring for his rotting wife, while an evil suitor (Richard E. Grant) tries to muscle in on the bride he left behind.
After a 13 year absence since his cult hit "The Nightmare Before Christmas" took everyone by surprise, Tim Burton..."

| Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D |
moviecritic writes, "While ratcheting up box office hits and charming the planet during the course of his career, Tom Hanks has also made time for his true love: the NASA space program. After "Apollo 13," and the HBO mini-series, "From Earth to the Moon," "Magnificent Desolation" is another investigative piece by Hanks that probes into the gumption it took to travel to the moon in the 1960s, and poses the question: can we do it again?
Not content with the powers of pay cable or the scope of the average suburban multiplex, Hanks takes his argument to the Imax large-format screen, and enjoys..."

| The Greatest Game Ever Played |
|
moviecritic writes, "As a young, golf-obsessed, working-class caddy growing up at the turn of the century, Francis Ouimet (Shia LeBouf, providing excellent, intense work here) is mystified when his considerable skills are recognized, and he's allowed to join the ranks of the elitist sport as an amateur player. While his father (Elias Koteas) objects to his aspirations, Ouimet struggles through failure, class prejudice, and self-doubt to find himself at the 1913 U.S. Open playing with, and eventually against, Harry Vardon (Stephen Dillane), Ouimet's personal hero, and the best player the game had known up to that point."

| Transporter 2 |
|
moviecritic writes, "Entrusted with the transportation of a government official's (Matthew Modine) child, mercenary-turned-driver Frank Martin (Jason Statham) finds himself caught up in the family's troubles, which goes against his every instinct. On a routine trip to the pediatrician, Frank and the kid are confronted by kidnappers (including a scene-stealing Jason Flemyng), who manage to inject the boy with a deadly virus, and frame Frank for the kidnapping in the process. Out to retrieve the child, find the antidote, and clear his name, Frank begins to scour the Miami landscape to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice the only way he can: through massive amounts of ass kicking. Turning to the highly lucrative world of arms dealing, Yuri finds he has a gift for the business, taking himself and younger brother (Jared Leto) to the top of the game. Finding himself with incredible wealth, the girl of his dreams (Bridget Moynahan), and at the call of every warlord around, Yuri slowly loses himself and his ethics in the selling of chaos. | Must Love Dogs |
|
moviecritic writes, "Recently divorced and terrified of the dating scene, Sarah (Diane Lane) is unwilling to meet new men, even with the almost psychotic pushing from her large family (including Elizabeth Perkins and loose, charming Christopher Plummer). Dipped into the online dating pool against her will, Sarah meets Jake (John Cusack), another victim of divorce who is just as reluctant to date. The two hit it off, but so do Sarah and Bob (Dermot Mulroney), leaving Jake unsure where he stands. Finding two men she likes for the first time in a long time, Sarah must figure out what to do with her suddenly new found love life."
