Grandma's Boy
writes, "Alex (Allen Covert) is a 35 year-old video game tester (nicknamed "Gray Bush" by his much younger co-workers) who loves getting high and not much else. Losing his apartment, Alex reluctantly moves in with his grandma (Doris Roberts) and her roommates (Shirley Jones and Shirley Knight) until he gets back on his feet. Enjoying the attention he gets from the seniors, along with an infatuation with his new boss (Linda Cardellini), Alex soon loses ground at his job, allowing a rival designer (Joel Moore, "Dodgeball") to swoop in and try to steal his ideas."

Brokeback Mountain
writes, "Both looking for work in 1963, cowboys Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhall) and Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) are paired up and sent to Brokeback Mountain to help herd sheep for the summer. Finding an easygoing friendship based on mutual hardship, the relationship gets complicated quickly when Jack takes Ennis into his tent one cold night, and the two take their companionship to the next level. Unable to deal with their love for each other, the men reluctantly go their separate ways, eventually finding wives (Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway) and siring children over the years, but still processing the deep, complex love between them. Periodically reconnecting during visits and getaways, it becomes clear that the difficulty of trying to accept their feelings might eventually unravel them for good."

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
writes, "Shuffled off to the English countryside for protection during WWII, siblings Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley) are sent to an isolated mansion to wait out the chaos. During a routine game of hide-and-seek, Lucy finds that an old wardrobe is actually a magical portal to the fantasy land of Narnia, where the evil White Witch, Jadis (a miscast Tilda Swinton), has enslaved the land and citizens in snow and ice. After getting a quick tutorial on the ways of Narnia from two helpful talking beavers (Ray Winstone and Dawn French, both contributing wonderful voicework), the kids are given an important mission: help the powerful lion Aslan (Liam Neeson) restore his former rule, and spread peace back to the land with their newfound heroism. "

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
writes, "

*** This comment may contain spoilers ***

Looking for a trouble-free year at Hogwarts for a change, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) finds himself unwillingly entered in the brutal TriWizard competition, up against a fellow Hogwarts student (Robert Pattinson) and two others from visiting schools. With the assistance of loyal friends Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson), and the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Mad-Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson), Harry seeks to reveal who has put him in harm's way yet again. As Harry struggles to stay alive during these brutal contests, his investigations and dreams lead him to Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), who is making new efforts to rise again and exact his revenge.
"

Zathura
writes, "Two quarrelsome brothers, Walter (Josh Hutcherson) and Danny (Jonah Bobo), are forced to spend time together when their father (Tim Robbins) leaves them at home to retrieve documents from work. Finding an old tin game called "Zathura" in the basement, the boys begin to play, quickly learning that this game is nothing like they've encountered before. Accidentally sending their home into outer space, freezing their older sister (Kristen Stewart), facing evil aliens (a giant lizard race called the Zorgons) and robots, and meeting a hungry astronaut (Dax Shepard) along the way, Walter and Danny frantically race to finish the game before their father returns home, or at least what's left of their home. "

Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story
writes, "Once the best horseman in the business, Ben Crane (Kurt Russell) is finding it hard to keep his dreams alive. When his last assignment, a racehorse names Sonador, breaks a leg on the track, Ben quits his job and takes the horse in, hoping to breed her for profit. After years of neglecting his father (Kris Kristofferson), wife Lily (Elizabeth Shue), and daughter Cale (Dakota Fanning), Ben finds Sonador's lengthy and demanding healing process brings him closer to those he loves. When disappointment strikes again, Ben and Cale hatch a plan to train Sonador to race, looking to enter the prestigious and expensive Breeders' Cup to finally test their questionable steed."

Pride & Prejudice
writes, "The year is 1797, and the Bennet family, including Mr. (Donald Sutherland) and Mrs. (Brenda Blethyn), are looking to marry off their daughters Lydia (Jena Malone), Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), Mary (Talulah Riley), Kitty (Carey Mulligan), and Jane (a radiant Rosamund Pike) to any man of wealth and good standing. Hopes for a decent match come into their lives with the arrivals of Mr. Bingley (Simon Woods) and Mr. Darcy (Matthew Macfayden, giving the difficult role a good shot), but Darcy's far too snobbish and cold to the girls, with the plain and outspoken Elizabeth dismissing him immediately. Yet, over the course of a year, as the sisters embark on their separate adventures in love and marriage, Darcy continually finds himself in Elizabeth's company, forcing the two to confront powerful feelings inside, while those around the couple (including Judi Dench) sharpen their knives in disapproval. "
