The City of West Palm Beach is gearing up for a harmonious Holiday in Paradise, presented by FPL. This month-long celebration features Sandi, the world’s only 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand tree, and Ferris, a 50-foot Ferris wheel.

Visitors can also enjoy 100 tons of accompanying sand sculptures, a live llama, the Be Good Ship Lollipop—a giant pirate ship—and a 50-ton sand bar where kids can play. The event offers daily activities and a variety of free and affordable entertainment options for all ages.

Ferris Wheel Rides at Holiday in Paradise

Enjoy daily rides on the Ferris Wheel from December 5 through December 31, between 6:00-10:00 p.m. Rides are priced at $5 per person per ride, plus taxes and fees. On New Year’s Eve, rides will be extended until midnight!

Rules & Restrictions:
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following guidelines must be followed:

• Age & Height Restrictions:
  • No children under 3 years of age or less than 38” in height.
  • Children between 38” and 47” must be accompanied by an adult.
• Prohibited Behaviors:
  • No persons under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicating substances are allowed to ride.
  • No smoking, food, or drinks are permitted on the ride.
  • No loose or sharp items are allowed in the gondola.
• Safety Requirements:
  • All passengers must remain seated; standing in the gondola is not allowed.
  • Animals are not permitted in the gondola.
  • The ride operator has the authority to exclude individuals who do not follow these rules.
• Accessibility:
  • Handicapped children should refer to passenger containment requirements for accommodations.
