Loxahatchee River Heritage Day, a brand-new event celebrating the rich history of the Loxahatchee River region! This event is perfect for history enthusiasts, families, and anyone curious about our local heritage.
Activities include:
-Presentations by local historians and archaeologists
-Guided tours of the historic Tindall House
-Living history performances
-Opportunities to meet local authors and representatives from historical societies and museums
Special Highlights:
-Docents in period costumes sharing stories from the early 1900s
-Living history portrayal of Captain Charles H. Coe by his descendant Andrew Foster
-Fascinating presentations on Northern Palm Beach County Archaeology, Jupiter Shipwrecks, and tales from Jupiter’s
-Lighthouse Keepers

-10:30 AM: Chris Davenport on Northern Palm Beach County Archaeology
-11:30 AM: Thomas Gidus on Jupiter Shipwrecks
-1:00 PM: Josh Liller on Tales from Jupiter’s Lighthouse Keepers
-2:00 PM: Josh Liller on Town In Transition – The Growth of Jupiter from 1953 to 1987
