Come out to the 3rd annual Spooktacular Family Festival with the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida! You don’t need to be a Girl Scout to take part in the fun—everyone is welcome to register and enjoy this festive event!
Spend the afternoon at one of the camp properties in Jupiter for a day packed with fall-themed activities, all with a spooky twist. This festival combines traditional camp fun with spooky STEM science, offering something for all ages. You can try your hand at archery, hike the trails, or dive into exciting outdoor STEM experiments with a fun fall theme.
Of course, no Spooktacular Festival would be complete without an annual costume contest! There are two main categories: Best Individual Costume and Best Group Costume. Costumes are optional, but if you do choose to dress up, please ensure your costume covers your shoulders and avoids loose hanging fabrics for safety reasons.
All family members and friends must register to participate. Children aged 3 and under can attend for free, but keep in mind that the activities are not specifically designed for this age group.
What to bring: camp chairs, picnic blankets, a refillable water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, and a packed lunch for you and your family.
What to wear: For everyone’s safety, all participants—kids and adults alike—must wear weather-appropriate clothing or costumes suitable for outdoor activities. This includes closed-toe and closed-heel shoes with socks, and shirts or tops that cover the shoulders. If you’re wearing a costume, make sure there are no loose or hanging fabrics.
