Volunteers of all ages are invited to spend the morning removing litter and recyclables from Jupiter’s beaches while connecting with others who care about protecting our local environment. \nNo advance registration is required for individual volunteers\, making this an easy and meaningful way to give back to the Jupiter community. \n📅 Saturday\, October 10\, 2026🕗 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM📍 Ocean Cay Park – Anita Lankler Pavilion2188 Marcinski Road\, Jupiter\, FL 33477 \n🎟️ Free to Participate \n🌎 Celebrating Florida Climate Week™\nThis month’s cleanup is part of Florida Climate Week™\, bringing an added focus to protecting Florida’s natural resources and creating a healthier\, more resilient environment. \nBy volunteering for just a couple of hours\, participants can make an immediate impact on the beaches and coastal habitats that make Jupiter such a special place to live and visit. \n🏖️ Help Clean 2½ Miles of Jupiter’s Coastline\nVolunteers will work together to clean approximately 2½ miles of beach\, stretching from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park\, covering beach crossovers 22–59. \nCleanup areas may include: \n🏖️ Beaches and shoreline \n🚶 Walkways and beach crossovers \n🌿 Parks and surrounding areas \n🚗 Parking areas \n♻️ Recyclable materials \nSome cleanup locations are within walking distance\, while others may require driving. DESCRIPTION:Young Friends Beach Cleanup\nJoin in for the Next Young Friends Beach Cleanup with Friends of Jupiter Beach! \nMake a difference in our beautiful community by helping to preserve our coastline\, meet new people\, and enjoy a rewarding afternoon outdoors. \nWhen: Sunday\, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PMWhere: Ocean Cay Park\, Anita Lankler Pavilion (southeast corner of US Hwy. 1 and 2188 Marcinski Road\, north of Donald Ross Rd.\, south of Indiantown Rd.) \nWhat We’ll Do:Students will help clean a 2½-mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park (crossovers 22–59). In case of rain or hazardous weather\, the cleanup will be canceled and will not be rescheduled—join us next month! \nWhat to Expect Upon Arrival: \n\n\nPick up gloves\, grabbers\, and small bags (provided by us). \n\n\nJoin a team and follow instructions from Team Captains (wearing orange shirts) about designated areas. \n\n\nSome groups will walk while others may drive to cleanup sections. \n\n\nAreas include the beach\, walkways\, under crossovers\, parking areas\, and park spaces. \n\n\nRecyclables will be separated—please follow the Friends of Jupiter Beach Volunteer Code of Safety. \n\n\nWhat to Bring and Wear: \n\n\nClosed-toe shoes (no flip-flops)\, hats\, sunscreen\, bug spray\, and protective clothing for arms and legs. \n\n\nPlace full bags by the sidewalk trashcans (not on the beach or road). \n\n\nHelp Team Captains consolidate trash into large black bags or blue recycling bags. \n\n\nRegistration and Community Service Credit: \n\n\nStudents must check in by 3:00 PM sharp to receive school community service credit. \n\n\nOrganized groups must contact us at hello@friendsofjupiterbeach.org at least two weeks in advance to confirm participation.🌊
