DESCRIPTION:Friends of Jupiter Beach-Beach Cleanup\nThis is your chance to make a positive impact on our beautiful coastline\, connect with new friends\, and enjoy a fun and fulfilling morning. \nEvent Details:\n\nWhen: Saturday\, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM\nWhere: Ocean Cay Park\n\nSoutheast corner of US Hwy. 1 at 2188 Marcinski Road\nAnita Lankler Pavilion\, facing the beach road\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\nClean a 2.5-mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park (crossovers 22–59).\nReturn by 9:30 AM to enjoy breakfast foods\, drinks\, great company\, and free prizes!\n\nNote: Beach cleanups will be canceled in case of rain or dangerous weather. Updates will be posted on their Facebook page. If canceled\, there will be no rescheduling—see you next month! \n\nWhat to Do When You Arrive:\n\nSign In: Get your free prize ticket.\nGear Up: Pick up gloves\, grabbers\, and small bags (provided by us).\nJoin a Team: Follow the instructions of Team Captains (wearing orange shirts) for your cleanup area.\n\nSome areas may require walking\, others driving.\nCleanup locations include the beach\, walkways\, under crossovers\, parking areas\, and the park.\n\n\nRecycle: Separate recyclables as you clean.\n\n\nAdditional Information:\nWhat to Wear: \n\nClosed-toe shoes\, hats\, sunscreen\, and bug spray (no flip-flops).\nProtect your arms and legs.\n\nCleanup Instructions: \n\nLeave filled bags by trashcans on the sidewalk\, not on the beach or road.\nAssist Team Captains in transferring items to large black or blue recyclable bags.\n\nFor Groups: \n\nOrganized groups must contact us at hello@friendsofjupiterbeach.org. Our group coordinator will provide additional details.\n\nRegistration: \n\nNo pre-registration required for individuals.\nStudents seeking community service credit must check in by 8:00 AM to earn 2 hours of credit.\n\nTo ensure a great experience for all\, group sizes are limited to 25. \nLet’s work together to keep our beaches beautiful—see you there! 🌊
