DESCRIPTION:Military Vehicle Display at Double Roads Tavern: History You Can Touch\nExperience a piece of World War II history up close at Double Roads Tavern in Jupiter on Saturday\, August 22\, 2026\, when the 16th Armored Division Reenactment Group brings a collection of historic military vehicles to town for a free public display. \nEvent Details\nMilitary Vehicle Display at Double Roads Tavern\n🕘 Saturday\, August 22 | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM\n📍 Double Roads Tavern\n103 US-1 Suite A1\, Jupiter\, FL\n🎟️ Free and open to the public \nFamilies\, history enthusiasts\, veterans\, and curious visitors are invited to get an up-close look at authentic World War II-era vehicles while meeting the volunteers who preserve\, maintain\, and restore these incredible pieces of American military history. \nHistoric Military Vehicles on Display\nThe 16th Armored Division Reenactment Group maintains an impressive motor pool of historic vehicles\, with the collection including: \n\n1944 Willys MB — the iconic World War II Jeep\n1945 Dodge WC-51 Troop Carrier\n1942 White M3A1 Scout Car\n1942 White M2A1 Halftrack\n1942 Ford GPW — Ford’s version of the classic World War II Jeep\n1943 Bantam T3 Trailer\n1940 Dodge D19 Luxury Liner\n1943 Dodge WC-63 / L60 Bofors\n1943 GMC CCKW Model 352 — the legendary “Deuce and a Half”\n\nVisitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history\, engineering\, restoration\, and preservation work behind the vehicles directly from the volunteers who care for them. \nKeeping Military History Alive\nThe 16th Armored Division Reenactment Group was established to help preserve U.S. military history and introduce younger generations to the people\, equipment\, and stories of the World War II era. \nIts volunteers dedicate countless hours to keeping historic military vehicles roadworthy and ready for educational displays and living history events.
