Coral Cove Park

📍 1600 S Beach Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469

Best for: Clear water, scenic views, wildlife spotting

Coral Cove Park is one of the most scenic paddle launch spots near Jupiter, known for its shallow turquoise water and stunning views near the Jupiter Inlet and Lighthouse area. High tide is typically the best time to paddle here, especially for beginners. Wildlife sightings are common and may include manatees, dolphins, tropical fish, and shorebirds. More experienced paddlers can venture closer to the inlet, though strong currents and boat traffic can make conditions challenging for novice paddlers.

DuBois Park

Best for: Families, beginners, calm water paddling

DuBois Park offers several launch areas along the Intracoastal Waterway and Loxahatchee River side of the park, making it one of the most flexible and beginner-friendly launch spots in Jupiter. Calm, shallow water near the inlet provides an easy paddling experience for families and first-time kayakers, while more experienced paddlers can continue farther into the Intracoastal.

The launch area near the boat slips on the west side is especially popular. The park also features swimming areas, picnic spots, grills, restrooms, and plenty of parking, though weekends can get busy quickly.

Best for: Quiet nature paddles, mangroves, wildlife viewing

Jones Creek Preserve is one of Jupiter’s hidden gems for kayaking and paddleboarding. Tucked just off Indiantown Road near the Wells Fargo building, this small preserve provides direct access to Jones Creek, a scenic tributary connected to the Loxahatchee River.

The mangrove-lined waterways create a peaceful setting ideal for birdwatching, photography, and spotting local wildlife. Because it’s less known to tourists, the preserve tends to attract more locals looking for a quieter escape on the water.

📍 6570 Church Street, Jupiter, FL 33458

Best for: Local paddling spot, peaceful river access

Limestone Creek Natural Area is a quiet launch area popular with local paddlers and nature lovers. Located along the C-18 Canal, the preserve offers direct canoe and kayak access into peaceful waterways that eventually connect to the Loxahatchee River.

The launch itself can be somewhat steep, according to locals, but the surrounding scenery makes it worthwhile. Paddlers can explore mangroves, flatwoods, and native Florida ecosystems while enjoying a less crowded alternative to some of Jupiter’s more popular launch spots.
