🌊♻️ Help Keep Jupiter’s Beaches Beautiful During Florida Climate Week™
Make a difference for our coastline during the Friends of Jupiter Beach October Beach Cleanup, held in celebration of Florida Climate Week™. Volunteers of all ages are invited to spend the morning removing litter and recyclables from Jupiter’s beaches while connecting with others who care about protecting our local environment.
No advance registration is required for individual volunteers, making this an easy and meaningful way to give back to the Jupiter community.

🌎 Celebrating Florida Climate Week™
This month’s cleanup is part of Florida Climate Week™, bringing an added focus to protecting Florida’s natural resources and creating a healthier, more resilient environment.
By volunteering for just a couple of hours, participants can make an immediate impact on the beaches and coastal habitats that make Jupiter such a special place to live and visit.
🏖️ Help Clean 2½ Miles of Jupiter’s Coastline
Volunteers will work together to clean approximately 2½ miles of beach, stretching from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park, covering beach crossovers 22–59.
Cleanup areas may include:
🏖️ Beaches and shoreline
🚶 Walkways and beach crossovers
🌿 Parks and surrounding areas
🚗 Parking areas
♻️ Recyclable materials
Some cleanup locations are within walking distance, while others may require driving. Team Captains wearing orange shirts will assign volunteers to specific areas.
🧤 Cleanup Supplies Provided
Friends of Jupiter Beach provides everything you’ll need to help with the cleanup, including:

🦾 Litter grabbers
When you arrive, simply sign in, pick up your supplies and free prize ticket, and join a team.

Volunteers are encouraged to return to the pavilion by 9:30 AM to enjoy:

🎓 Community Service Hours for Students
Students who need community service credit can receive 2 hours of community service for participating.
Students must check in by 8:00 AM sharp to receive credit.

Come prepared for a morning outdoors with:

👕 Clothing that provides protection for your arms and legs
Registration & Group Information
Individual volunteers do not need to register in advance.
Organized groups should contact Friends of Jupiter Beach ahead of time so the group coordinator can provide additional instructions.
Weather Policy
🌧️ Beach cleanups are canceled in the event of rain or dangerous weather.
If the October cleanup is canceled, it will not be rescheduled. Volunteers can join Friends of Jupiter Beach at the following month’s cleanup instead.
