Crafting for Conservation

Crafting for Conservation: DIY String Art at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
Get creative this fall at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter with a fun, hands-on DIY String Art workshop on Sunday, October 18!
As part of the sanctuary’s Crafting for Conservation series, participants will create their own fall-themed string art masterpiece using a wooden sign, colorful string, and a seasonal pattern.
🍂 What’s Included:
- 4″ x 10″ wooden sign
- Fall-themed pattern
- Gold nails and string
- All additional crafting supplies
During this creative workshop, you’ll choose your fall pattern, hammer nails into your wooden sign, and weave string to bring your design to life. Children must have adult assistance and supervision when using the hammer.
Once your masterpiece is complete, take it home to display for the fall season!
🐢 Make a Day of It!
After crafting, stick around for the sanctuary’s 11:30 AM Conservation Conversation in the Educational Amphitheater, or explore the grounds and visit the resident animal ambassadors.
