🦀 Explore the Estuary
Using seine nets and dip nets, participants will work together to gently capture and observe a variety of marine animals that call the estuary home before safely releasing them back into the water.
You never know what you’ll discover, including:
- 🐟 Small fish
- 🌊 Sea urchins
- 🐚 Conchs
- 🦀 Crabs
- 🦐 Shrimp
- 🪼 Other fascinating estuary creatures
River Center educators will be on hand to identify wildlife, explain their role in the ecosystem, and answer questions along the way.
