🌊🎄 Give Back to Jupiter’s Beaches This Holiday Season

Wrap up the year by giving back to the coastline we all love! Friends of Jupiter Beach invites volunteers of all ages to its December Beach Cleanup, a free community event dedicated to keeping Jupiter’s beaches clean, beautiful, and safe for local wildlife.

Spend two hours making a positive impact, meet fellow volunteers, and then celebrate a job well done with complimentary breakfast, refreshments, and free prize drawings.

🏖️ Help Keep Jupiter’s Beaches Beautiful

Volunteers will help clean approximately 2½ miles of coastline, stretching from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park, including beach crossovers 22–59.

Cleanup areas may include:

🏖️ Beaches and shoreline

🚶 Walkways and beach crossovers

🌿 Parks and surrounding areas

🚗 Parking areas

♻️ Recyclable materials

Some cleanup sections require walking, while others may require driving. Team Captains wearing orange shirts will provide instructions and assign volunteers to specific areas.

🧤 What Happens When You Arrive

Friends of Jupiter Beach makes it easy to get involved. When you arrive:

✔️ Sign in and receive your free prize ticket

🧤 Pick up provided gloves, litter grabbers, and collection bags

👥 Join a cleanup team

🧡 Follow your Team Captain’s instructions

♻️ Collect litter and help separate recyclable materials

All cleanup equipment is provided.

🥐 Breakfast, Refreshments & Free Prizes

Volunteers are encouraged to return to the pavilion before 9:30 AM to enjoy:

🥤 Drinks and refreshments

🎁 Free prize drawings

🤝 Time to catch up with old friends and meet new volunteers

🎓 Community Service Hours for Students

Students looking to complete community service requirements can receive 2 hours of community service credit for participating.

⚠️ Students must check in by 8:00 AM sharp to receive credit.

👟 What to Wear

Come prepared for a morning outdoors. Volunteers should wear or bring:

👟 Closed-toe shoes — no flip-flops

🧢 Hat

☀️ Sunscreen

🦟 Bug spray

👕 Clothing that protects arms and legs

Registration & Group Information

Individual volunteers do not need to register in advance.

Organized groups should contact Friends of Jupiter Beach in advance for additional information and coordination.

👥 Organized groups are limited to 25 participants to help ensure a positive volunteer experience for everyone.

Weather Policy

🌧️ Beach cleanups are canceled in the event of rain or dangerous weather.

If the December cleanup is canceled, it will not be rescheduled.
