Pepper
Originally formed in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Pepper has developed its signature “Kona dub-rock” sound by mixing reggae, alternative rock, island rhythms, and punk energy. Over the years, the trio has toured with artists including 311, Slightly Stoopid, The Wailers, Pennywise, and Snoop Dogg.
The Movement
The Movement has been part of the alternative-reggae scene since forming in 2003. Their music combines reggae with rock and heavy drum-and-bass influences, drawing inspiration from bands like Sublime, 311, and Slightly Stoopid.
Their 2019 album Ways of the World reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart.
Surfer Girl
Opening the night is Surfer Girl, led by former Aer frontman Carter Reeves. The band mixes indie-pop, reggae, surf-rock, and hip-hop into a laid-back, summertime sound.
Their 2025 album Sunset features collaborations with artists including Bryce Vine, Collie Buddz, Jah Lil, and Emily Brimlow.
