Boating Safely CourseÂ
The River Center at Burt Reynolds Park in Jupiter, Florida is hosting a Boating Safely Course on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 8:00 AM, in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 52. This affordable, classroom-based course is designed to help young and new boaters gain the skills and knowledge needed to safely navigate Florida’s waterways.
Recommended for ages 12 and up, the course covers essential boating safety topics including navigation rules, required safety equipment, emergency procedures, and Florida boating laws. The program is supported by the AustinBlu Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving boater safety through education.
Participants must pass a written exam at the end of the class to receive their official Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Boater Safety Card, which is required for many boat operators in the state.
