Busch Wildlife Sanctuary will be filled with holiday cheer on Saturday, December 20, as families are invited to gather for a festive Holiday Workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jupiter-based wildlife refuge. The seasonal event blends cozy winter fun with the sanctuary’s ongoing mission of education and conservation.

Throughout the morning and early afternoon, guests can warm up at a hot cocoa station before heading to the holiday craft area, where kids and adults alike can get hands-on with festive creations. The relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere makes it an easy outing for all ages—whether you’re stopping by for a short visit or spending the afternoon exploring.

In addition to crafts and cocoa, the workshop features special scheduled programs designed to engage young visitors and curious minds. Story Time sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. invite children to slow down and enjoy seasonal tales, while Conservation Conversations at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. offer a closer look at the sanctuary’s work protecting Florida wildlife and habitats.

Adding to the excitement, Santa will be making a special appearance, giving families a chance to enjoy a classic holiday moment in a uniquely local setting—surrounded by nature instead of snow. The cocoa and craft stations are generously sponsored by The Grove Group, helping bring extra sweetness and creativity to the day.
