Jupiter Levels Up With First-Ever E-Sports Fortnite Tournament for Local Gamers
The Town of Jupiter is stepping into the world of competitive gaming with its first-ever E-Sports Fortnite Tournament on Saturday, December 13, 2025, giving young gamers a chance to turn their screen time into serious bragging rights.
The tournament runs from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and is open to players ages 8–16. Registration is $15 for residents and $19 for non-residents (Activity Code: 552201).
Unlike traditional in-person events, this competition takes place entirely online, allowing participants to battle it out from the comfort of home while still being part of a structured, community-hosted event.
🎮 How It Works
Players will squad up and face off in Fortnite matches hosted on a private YouTube server, with the action streamed and directed live by a professional instructor. It’s designed to feel like a real e-sports experience—organized, energetic, and spectator-friendly.
To participate, players must have:
-
A Fortnite-compatible device or console
-
A stable internet connection
-
Access to the event link and rules, which will be sent out prior to the tournament
🏆 Prizes & Format
-
Prizes will be awarded to first-place finishers, giving competitors extra incentive to bring their A-game.
-
The event is instructor-led, which helps keep matches running smoothly, ensures rules are followed, and adds a professional touch to the overall experience.
📝 Registration & Important Details
-
Spots are limited, and registration closes the night before the tournament.
-
No late entries will be accepted for any reason, so families are encouraged to sign up early.
-
The tournament host, Jared Stewart (jared@vgm.life), will contact all registered participants with rules, instructions, and login details prior to the event.
-
For help with registration, families can call the Jupiter Community Center front desk at 561-741-2400.
