Join in for the Next Young Friends Beach Cleanup with Friends of Jupiter Beach!
Make a difference in our beautiful community by helping to preserve our coastline, meet new people, and enjoy a rewarding afternoon outdoors.
When: Sunday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Where: Ocean Cay Park, Anita Lankler Pavilion (southeast corner of US Hwy. 1 and 2188 Marcinski Road, north of Donald Ross Rd., south of Indiantown Rd.)
What We’ll Do:
Students will help clean a 2½-mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park (crossovers 22–59). In case of rain or hazardous weather, the cleanup will be canceled and will not be rescheduled—join us next month!
What to Expect Upon Arrival:
Pick up gloves, grabbers, and small bags (provided by us).
Join a team and follow instructions from Team Captains (wearing orange shirts) about designated areas.
Some groups will walk while others may drive to cleanup sections.
Areas include the beach, walkways, under crossovers, parking areas, and park spaces.
Recyclables will be separated—please follow the Friends of Jupiter Beach Volunteer Code of Safety.
What to Bring and Wear:
Closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops), hats, sunscreen, bug spray, and protective clothing for arms and legs.
Place full bags by the sidewalk trashcans (not on the beach or road).
Help Team Captains consolidate trash into large black bags or blue recycling bags.
Registration and Community Service Credit:
Students must check in by 4:00 PM sharp to receive school community service credit.
Organized groups must contact us at hello@friendsofjupiterbeach.org at least two weeks in advance to confirm participation.🌊
