Families are invited to explore the natural world during Science with Sam – Happy Habitats, a hands-on science program hosted at the River Center in Jupiter. Led by resident educator Scientist Sam, this interactive class introduces kids to the concept of habitats and what plants and animals need to survive and thrive.
Participants will learn how different habitats are connected, why balance in nature matters, and how everyday choices can help protect local ecosystems. The program includes engaging science activities, age-appropriate discussions, and a lively group game called Habitat Hustle, designed to reinforce learning through movement and play.
The event is free to attend, but advance registration is required due to limited space. Families who encounter a registration error are encouraged to join the waitlist for possible openings.
