Wellington’s 30th Anniversary Celebration
Wellington Marks 30 Years With a Community-Wide Anniversary Celebration at the Amphitheater
The Village of Wellington is getting ready to celebrate a major milestone—30 years of community, growth, and hometown pride—with a free, family-friendly 30th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Wellington Amphitheater. Running from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., the event invites residents and visitors alike to come together for an evening packed with entertainment, activities, and celebration.
The anniversary celebration honors three decades of building what many proudly call “Our Great Hometown,” and organizers are pulling out all the stops to make it a night to remember. The Amphitheater grounds will transform into a festival-style celebration featuring carnival rides, a Ferris wheel, games, an ice skating rink, and a variety of food and market vendors lining the lakeside.
Shoppers can browse a curated selection of local market vendors, including Bluebird Baking Co., Pepperprint, Taste T’s Pastries, Crafted by Val, Sunshine Embroidery & Design, JodimARTindesigns, MAEF Jewelry, and Island Palm Sips and Snacks—adding a strong local-business spotlight to the evening.
Live Music, Entertainment & Fireworks
Music and entertainment anchor the night, with Virginia Sinicki from The KVJ Show serving as emcee. The evening’s entertainment schedule includes:
-
56 Ace Band | 4:30 – 5:45 p.m.
-
Event Welcome with Wellington Council | 5:45 p.m.
-
Never Stop Believin’ | 6:10 – 7:45 p.m.
-
Turnstiles | 8:10 – 9:50 p.m.
The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display over Lake Wellington at approximately 9:55 p.m., closing out the anniversary in classic Wellington style.
Fireworks & Community Notice
The Village has advised residents that the fireworks will be a low-level display, lasting roughly five minutes. As Wellington is a well-known equestrian community, residents are encouraged to take precautions for horses, pets, and young children, including supervising animals closely during the display.
A Celebration of Community
With free admission, activities for all ages, live music, food, and fireworks, Wellington’s 30th Anniversary Celebration is designed to reflect the heart of the village—bringing neighbors together to celebrate the past, enjoy the present, and look ahead to the future.
As Wellington turns 30, this milestone event promises to be more than a party—it’s a tribute to the people, partnerships, and pride that continue to shape the community.
