Kids Fishing Clinic
Kids Fishing Clinic
Young anglers will have the chance to learn the fundamentals of fishing at a Kids Fishing Clinic scheduled for Saturday, January 10, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Designed with beginners in mind, the clinic introduces students to the essential skills needed to fish safely and responsibly. Participants will receive hands-on instruction in knot tying, casting techniques, fish handling, and proper catch-and-release practices, emphasizing both skill-building and respect for the environment.
The clinic offers a welcoming, educational setting where kids can build confidence, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of local waterways and aquatic life. Experienced instructors guide students step by step, helping them develop techniques they can use long after the event ends.
Beyond learning how to fish, the clinic also highlights conservation and stewardship—teaching young participants why protecting fish and habitats is just as important as making the catch. For many families, it’s a chance to introduce children to an outdoor activity that encourages patience, focus, and time spent in nature.
The Kids Fishing Clinic runs for two hours and is a great fit for families looking for a hands-on, educational weekend activity.
