Tequesta Fire-Rescue to Host Annual Christmas Open House on December — A Festive Morning for Families
The Village of Tequesta is kicking off the holiday season with one of its most beloved traditions as Tequesta Fire-Rescue opens its station doors for the Annual Christmas Open House from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. This free, family-friendly event invites residents of all ages to step behind the scenes, meet first responders, and enjoy a festive morning packed with holiday fun.
Visitors can expect a warm welcome from Tequesta’s firefighters and police officers, who will be on hand to show kids (and adults!) around the station, answer questions, and share what it’s like to protect and serve the community. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with the people who keep Tequesta safe year-round.
One of the highlights of the morning is a visit with Santa Claus, who will be greeting families in his very own enchanted forest—the perfect backdrop for holiday photos and magical memories.
Young adventurers (and a few grown-up ones) will have the chance to climb aboard a fire engine for a ride around the station. For many kids, it’s a dream come true and often the most talked-about part of the event.
The open house also includes tasty treats, festive displays, and plenty of hands-on fun, making it an ideal way to kick off the weekend and soak in some small-town holiday spirit.
Open to everyone and completely free, the Tequesta Fire-Rescue Christmas Open House is an annual favorite that blends education, community connection, and holiday magic into one unforgettable morning. Bring the whole crew—the firefighters can’t wait to see you there.
